Car Boot sales are now firmly established as a spring and summer bank holiday day out. I totally understand why, for the most part they offer a low cost way for a fun day out, along with the chance to grab a bargain or two along the way.
Also they are great exercise, especially if like me on a sunny day I visit at least 2 car boot sales and must walk at least a few miles looking around the rows of cars and endless wallpaper pasting tables of brick a brak and jumble.
